Please start adding anything you can think of to the list of things we need to do for the trip. If you have completed an item, do not delete it, but cross it out. If you can think of another category we need, add it! If you can think of something that needs to be broken down any further, make it a category.

For the activities: If you have created an activity, please save in the shared drive under 6th Grade LLELA so that both teams have access to it.

-need to make chart so students know what to fill in to complete this when we get back (SCOTT)
-Settle or Shift: game discussing population and what different situations affected the population (TRAHAN and SHIRES)
-Graveyard Math Activity: Elapsed time (How old were they when they died?) (Suarez)
-mp3 activity for heart rate
-mp3 with video for history of that area or we could read something for history of the area (GIRARD - created but needs to be loaded to mp3 players)
-mp3 with video of animals in the area
-scavenger hunt for trail (TEAM SPURS)
-bird identification app for Ipad (students can take a picture of the bird, and then use the Ipad to figure out what type of bird it is)
-stranded in the woods - what would you bring? Give them a list of 20 items, and they have to pick 10, then 5 items, then the most important three.
-Names of jobs for each student in a group. For example, photographer, step tracker, heart rate guru, Back pack holder…
-Heat rate chart/ Number of steps- Suarez
-Scavenger hunt list- with descriptions- Sudovsky/ LeGuen/ Shires
-Wonder and ponder points (journal entry)- Love/ Rivero
-Lunches (Leguen)
-Spreadsheet of students with Ipads, Iphones, or Itouch. Give to Stone
-Discuss appropriate clothing, shoes, and what they can bring
-Science will do a mock trip outside to model protocol for trails
